Spotify: Pray for Jahar Tsarnaev

If any of you have Spotify and are interested, I have a playlist of songs on there that relate to Jahar. Search “Pray for Jahar Tsarnaev,” and it should pop up in the results under playlists. I find that it’s wonderful to pray for Jahar as these songs play.

Here’s a sneak peek of the playlist: one of my favorites on it, “Not Guilty Anymore” by Aaron Keyes:

I love how this video includes excerpts from sermons by Mark Driscoll and John Piper. Piper’s is especially wonderful when thinking about Jahar:

I cannot escape the exceeding wonder that not only does God look upon a guilty person in the courtroom and exercise clemency, and forgive him and say, “You’re guilty. I forgive you. Go and sin no more.” But He also, beyond all imagination, looks upon this guilty sinner, and does not just say, “You’re guilty, I forgive you.” He says, “You’re not guilty!” Forgiveness is understandable… we kind of have some way to get our hands around forgiveness. You let it go, you don’t hold it against them. But this? Look me right in the face, John Piper, right in the face, sinner though I am and say, “RIGHTEOUS!”

If Jahar gives his life to Christ, when God looks at him, he won’t see him as the Boston Bomber. When God looks at him, He’ll see Christ’s perfect righteousness.

You are spotless. You are holy. You are faultless. You are whole. You are righteous. You are blameless. You are pardoned. You are mine.
