IMPORTANT NOTE
We strongly condemn and are disgusted by Jahar's actions, and we pray for his victims regularly. Nonetheless, as Christians, we believe that Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for them and that despite Jahar's heinous crimes, the blood of Jesus is more than sufficient to wash him white as snow. Also, this is not a blog either for or against the death penalty for Jahar, as whether he lives or dies, his eternity is what matters most.“Adopt” Jahar For Prayer

I Am Here
Blood smears from my hand as I struggle to climb up into the dry-docked boat. I hardly notice, hardly care; I just have to hide. All I feel is the pain, physical pain and even greater emotional pain. Fear and … Continue reading

Imago dei: Loving the unlovely
I read an excerpt from Calvin’s Institutes of the Christian Religion today (thanks to my pastor sharing this link), and I couldn’t help but share it on here because it highlights a framework of thought that makes it much easier … Continue reading

For everyone who has decided to participate in our fasting and all night prayer for Jahar, here’s a reminder that it starts on Friday. It’s getting close! It’s not going to be easy, so let’s cover this thing in prayer, … Continue reading
