I have frequently heard the argument that we should not be praying for Jahar’s salvation because we can’t pray to change someone’s mind concerning a decision that only they can make.
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity – the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone….” (1 Timothy 1 & 3-6)
Right here in God’s word, Paul urges Timothy to pray for ALL people. Not just Christians. Not just “good” people whose sins “aren’t that bad” – but ALL people. He instructs Timothy to intercede on behalf of others and give thanks for them because it pleases our God – and God wants EVERYONE to be saved and to understand the truth. Again, at the end of the above passage – we see that Christ gave his life to purchase freedom for EVERYONE. He died for every single one of us – mothers, fathers, doctors, terrorists, pastors, drug addicts, teachers, rapists, missionaries, murderers…..EVERYONE. There is no one that God’s saving grace is not available to.
So, my brothers and sisters, don’t let the world tell us what we should and should not pray for. Look to God’s word and see that it pleases Him greatly when we give thanks for Jahar and intercede on his behalf – because He wants Jahar to be saved and to understand the truth. Afterall, He gave His life to purchase Jahar’s freedom.
Christians United For Jahar 
Our prayer for Jahar’s conversion has been called “condescending.” This is our belief. This is a sign of our good will towards Jahar and whoever we pray for. This is children trying to obey their Father’s commands. Everybody says that everybody should be allowed to follow their religion, but then we are criticized for praying for Jahar’s peace, which believe comes through salvation. It can be quite frustrating when it is taken offensively, when no offense is intended.
What I find funny/interesting/ironic, is when the people reblog our posts that they find “offensive/condescending,” and are actually spreading our message. I ❤ God's way!

What I can’t stand is when people are all like “let people practice their religion and leave them alone.” Well, that’s so hypocritical because that’s exactly what THEY aren’t allowing us to do. We’re commanded to share our faith and we believe Jesus is the only way to heaven, so to practice our religion, we must do exactly that.
I really don’t get what’s so offensive about that. I have NO problem with a Muslim trying to get me to convert to Islam because it would probably show that they care about me. I should say as long as they do it in a respectful way. If they’re trashing Christianity and Jesus and making fun of me, that’s not okay. But that’s not at all what we do with Jahar and Islam anyway.
Yeah, the one that bothered me the most was “Lol, an apology…etc.” The first woman that reblogged it commented a lot, and then referred me a video by Joshua Evans, a former “Christian” converted to Islam. She said that there were no hard feelings, that she was trying to help me with my prayers for Jahar, and that she wanted to see what I had to say about the video. So I listened to it and I guess I had a lot to say because I’ve not heard from her. But I’m glad that she was commented a little more politely than the others 🙂

But anyhow, I’ve no problem with being “witnessed to” because at least people are considering me. It’s not always seen like that though. Oh well, it’ll be okay 🙂

And it’s not like we’re purposely praying for his pain and suffering- we are asking only blessings for him. And what about the 2nd half of the tweet?!
Exactly. If I didn’t care about Jahar and even hated him, my prayers would be some sort of vengeful wish for him to be tortured and very painfully executed or something like that. Any desire for him to suffer at all stems from the realization that maybe that’s what it takes for his eyes to be opened to his need for Jesus.
The haters can keep hating. When Jahar is standing before Jesus with a huge smile on his face one day instead of burning in hell, it’ll all be 100% worth the opposition we faced.
