We are a group of Christians from all over who are dedicated to praying for Dzhokhar “Jahar” Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bombing suspect. Whatever happened on April 15, 2013, and the following days, we’re united here under a love that God has given us for Jahar and under one goal.
Among other things, it is our ultimate hearts’ desire that Jahar would come to know Jesus and give his life to Him. Despite the gravity of Jahar’s sins, God has given us His heart for Jahar and we long to see him in heaven one day.
On this blog, we’ll be posting all sorts of things, including prayers and prayer requests for Jahar, songs that relate to our mission, encouragement to pray for him, and updates on him and his case.

Christians United For Jahar 
being that it is the holy month of Ramadan, MUSLIMS will be praying for their fellow MUSLIMS. Jahar is a muslim and if he is innocent he knows that Allah is there for him. and if he is not then ALLAH is there for him.
As a Muslim he understands that Jesus was a prophet of God, sent out to spread a message, nothing more, nothing less.
He is not a lost sheep lol
if he is not innocent then he followed radicals and was coerced into doing something he did not understand. and radicals exist in all faiths not just Islam.
This blog is extremely offensive..if you want to pray for him…by all means, but if your intentions are for him to denounce his religion and people…idk that is not right
I can speak for myself and probably everyone else on this blog by saying that none of us hate Muslims. Rather, I get quite ticked off by people who hate Muslims just because of their religion. I love Muslims, and those that I have talked to are very nice people. In addition, I really respect the dedication that Muslims have to their faith, such as praying five times a day, fasting during Ramadan, and making the hajj to Mecca. The problem is that as a Christian, I don’t agree with the teachings of Islam. I believe that having faith in Jesus Christ and accepting the payment for our sins that was made by His death on the cross is the only way to be forgiven, made righteous before God, and granted eternal life. As a Christian, then, it would be the most unloving thing for me to not desire that everyone puts their faith in Jesus not just as a prophet but as God and as Savior, no matter how offended some people are. I get where you are coming from, though. We both believe that our religion is the only true one, and just like you, if someone was trying to convert someone away from my religion, I could easily get defensive. In addition, as a Christian, I’ve been commanded by God to share the gospel with the whole world; I’m not going to disobey my God, just like I’m sure you wouldn’t want to disobey something that Allah commands you to do.

I was not at the Bombing, so I do not know if he is innocent or not. Either way, those beautiful people being killed is so tragic…what if they were not saved by the Blood? What about their families and future children?
I know Jahar and his brother were involved in drugs and other immoral things. No matter what he’s done or what he has not done, I do not wish him (or anybody else) to go to Hell. I pray for him and his family- that GOD might show His Grace and Mercy upon the Tsarnaevs as He has with me. I hate to think of anybody going to Hell.
Thank you for not bringing in different theories and religions. I have been praying for the family (and for the victims), and I am glad others are too.

Welcome to the blog, Ada! Just curious how you found the blog, if you don’t mind answering? I LOVE it when yet another Christian discovers the blog; it’s super encouraging to hear of more people who care about Jahar, want him saved, and pray for him.
I don’t really know much about the four victims who were killed as far as whether they were saved or not. About all I know is that the Richard family is Catholic, and Lingzi Lu attended a Christian organization at Boston University. If any or all of the victims weren’t saved, that makes this whole thing a million times more tragic.
I love how you mentioned that you want the Tsarnaev family to experience God’s grace and mercy just like you have experienced it. When you’ve experienced God’s grace and mercy, it’s hard not to want everyone else to experience such a wonderful gift.
Thank you for praying for Jahar, his family, and the victims. All of them need prayer so badly.

I found this blog while trying to promote my new blog(s) (plainpathwaytohim.wordpress.com and plainpathwaytohim.tumblr.com). While I was trying to find more decent blogs to follow and help promote my own, I typed “Dzhokhar Tsarnaev” in the WordPress Tag box (I’ve been interested in Jahar’s life before incarceration. I’m not sure why…. I guess maybe God put him and his family on my heart, too?). It took a little while of scrolling, but I found a blog that cared more about helping than publicity!

I’ve come across so many people who’ve felt called to pray for Jahar that I wouldn’t doubt it if God put him and his family on your heart as well. He seems to be raising up an army of prayer warriors.
By the way, finding this blog made me so happy! It makes me glad to come together with other Christians, while ignoring the denominations, to pray for others and each other. My heart was so full of praise last night!

I love when the church can come together like that. We’re supposed to be one body. As long as we’re agreeing on the essentials of our faith, the minor differences don’t matter all that much and shouldn’t distract us from fulfilling our mission in this world.
I have been following this blog off and on for a long while. I too have felt called to pray for Dzhokhar, though I have not been nearly as diligent as i should have been. I’m changing that now, and I would truly be honored to be able to join this community of people that have gathered together to lift up Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in prayer.

I think that you have accurately described CU4J (and all of the other people out there praying for Jahar) as a “community.” Though only Bri and “brokenhearted” have only met (to what I understand), we think of each other as sisters (and now brothers and sisters) and friends. Not only do we pray for Jahar, but we also pray for each other. It’s happened a couple of times here on this blog where one of us has needed spiritual encouragement…and it’s been given. This blog has been a blessing to me, to others I’m sure, hopefully to Jahar, and I pray now to you also 🙂

I found your website through a link at Adopt a Terrorist for Prayer. I’m registered at that site as one of those who are praying for Dzokhar/Jahar. I have a question. Do you know if anyone has been able to send the young man a Bible? Is it possible, and if so, what is the procedure? I’m sure I’m not the only person with this idea.
I want to say that someone in the past has told me that they sent him a Bible, but I’m not sure. I haven’t and none of my closest friends who pray for him have. One of my friends did send a couple Christian books to him, however, and they were returned undeliverable, so we think he refused them (because we know he’s received other books, including one I sent him that wasn’t blatantly Christian).
To send books to Jahar, you have to send them directly from the publisher, or what’s easiest is to send them from Amazon. It HAS to be a new (not used) book from Amazon itself, not from one of the third-party sellers that use Amazon. The problem right now is that no one is really sure where Jahar is at right now. It appears that he is most likely at USP Florence in Colorado, but no one is certain about that because the feds have been silent. Nor does anyone know how long he’ll be there. I think he’s going to be transferred to ADX Florence, which is in the same location but in a different building and far higher security. If he’s transferred, he can’t take any of his books with him, so I’m not sure if sending him books right now is wise.
