IMPORTANT NOTE
We strongly condemn and are disgusted by Jahar's actions, and we pray for his victims regularly. Nonetheless, as Christians, we believe that Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for them and that despite Jahar's heinous crimes, the blood of Jesus is more than sufficient to wash him white as snow. Also, this is not a blog either for or against the death penalty for Jahar, as whether he lives or dies, his eternity is what matters most.“Adopt” Jahar For Prayer

Destruction Being Used to God’s Glory
In an e-mail conversation with Bri, I shared a piece of writing I did last year soon after my salvation. Perhaps all of the small details do not fit exactly, but the overall picture reminds me of Jahar: confusion, depravity, … Continue reading →

Going and Telling
The Gospels are full to the brim of stories of the incredible healing power of Jesus’s love, many of which end in the exact same way. In Matthew 9, Jesus restores the sight of two blind men because of their … Continue reading →

Leading Him Home: My Story of a Whisper in my Heart
I have been saved since the summer between middle school and high school, but for the past year, I have been drifting farther and farther away from God. I never stopped believing in Him, but circumstances in my life had … Continue reading →

“I love him”: My story of answering God’s call
On April 18, I first saw his face. The following day, I first heard his name: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Little did I know then what God was stirring up in my heart. I watched my TV for hours on April 19, … Continue reading →

Open Letter: Another Story of God Working on Our Hearts
Editor’s note: Those of us in Christians United by Jahar have been very encouraged as we have seen how God has worked in at times eerily similar ways in first putting Jahar on our hearts. We have also been encouraged … Continue reading →
